DAVA organic whole green snap pea

DAVA green silk peas are grown in Denmark. The pea is characterized by being well-suited for cultivation in Denmark and having a stable output.

The peas can either hold their shape or be boiled down - it depends on the cooking time and the desired use.

Green silk peas are rich in protein and dietary fiber.

Preparation
Soak silk peas for approx. 6 hours or overnight with a pinch of baking soda. Discard the soaking water and boil in fresh water over medium-high heat for approx. 25 minutes without adding salt. The peas will hold their shape. Cool down and season with lemon juice to maintain the green color of the pea.

Suitable for
Green silk peas are suitable as an ingredient in salads, soups, and stews, or they can be used for dips, for example with fish and chips.
