DAVA rose paprika 80 g
Rose paprika is a special type of paprika. Rose paprika has a strong flavor and works well in combination with other spices, as it complements these flavors and adds depth to the dish.
The unique aspect of rose paprika, compared to edelsüss paprika, is that rose paprika has a distinct and strong taste. Many of the uses for rose paprika are similar to edelsüss paprika, as long as you are mindful of the dosage. Rose paprika can be used in a variety of dishes:
- Stews: Paprika and stews are inseparable. Rose paprika can be advantageously used in Hungarian goulash, where paprika is the dominant spice and you want a bit of punch in the flavor. Similarly, rose paprika also works well in chicken with paprika sauce. Rose paprika can also be used in pork tenderloin stew, pork chops in the oven, and similar dishes, as long as you are aware that it is stronger than edelsüss.
- Marinades: Paprika is perfect for marinades for pieces of chicken, or when marinating pulled pork - or just when marinating a good piece of meat for the grill.
- Legumes: When you want to add some legumes to the salad, you can advantageously fry the legumes in a pan with a little oil and then season with a bit of rose paprika, salt, and pepper. It's very simple, but it gives the legumes significantly more flavor.
In short, with our rose paprika, you get a paprika with a bit of heat and zest - it is just stronger than edelsüss. So if you want to spice up your everyday dishes with a strong spice - WITHOUT it being on the chili scale - then rose paprika is a good choice. Rose paprika also pairs well with other spices, even something as simple as salt and pepper.
Rose paprika is suitable for use in savory cooking, including slow-cooked dishes, sauces, soups, and salsas, as well as a dry rub for grilled dishes.
