- Hot glue gun
- String for a little bow

- Green cardstock or paper
- Scissors
- Glue
Step-by-step egg carton hares
- Cut the hare's body free from the egg carton: Find the tall, cone-shaped spikes in the middle. It is only these spikes you need to use. Cut them carefully free one by one, so you are left with small cardboard cones.
- Paint the hare's body: Choose a color that suits your hare: Pink, beige, or cream. Paint the entire cone and let it dry. When it is dry, paint the tummy with a lighter color.
- Give the hare a head: Glue a small wooden bead onto the top of the body.
- Make and attach the ears: Cut two small oval ears out of cardstock and paint them the same color as the body. If you want to make them extra cute, add a little pink inside. Glue them to the back of the hare's head so they stick up cutely.
- Draw the face: Use a fine marker to make two small eyes, a little nose.
- Add decorations (optional – but recommended!): Cut a small piece of string and tie it into a bow around the neck. Glue a small flower onto the top of the head between the ears.
Go for it. It is the small details that make your hares completely irresistible.
Step-by-step carrots
- Cut out the carrot shape: Find the tall, cone-shaped spikes in the middle. It is only these spikes you need to use. Cut them carefully free one by one, so you are left with small cardboard cones.
- Fold the upper part of the cone in on itself, so the hole in the middle of the cone is closed. This is where the top of the carrot should be attached.
- Paint them orange: Give the "carrots" a coat of orange paint. Let them dry.
- Make the green top: Cut a strip of green cardstock about 4-5 cm wide and make small snips along one side so it looks like sticking-up leaves. Roll it up slightly and glue it onto the top of the carrot.
Voila – your carrot farm is ready.
They will look super decorative on the table, in a small basket, or as decor between your Easter hares.
